AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Hello friends!

It's been a long time since I've "written" something to go along with the mix. SO  to finish up this year of amazing adventures, times spent with friends, and just way too many concerts (like that's possible) I have one last mix for 2014

As cliche as it may sounds,  I see my life as a movie, a string of moments . And you know what movies have ? badass soundtracks(hopefully?!) After  an amazing talk with the lovely Apryll about those songs, artists, albumns that made you love music, I have chosen to be brave and share my favorite songs, the ones that encompass what I love about music. In my attempt to express some of the highlights of the conversation I have put together a few (yeah 4 discs) songs that meet one very important criteria.. I can NEVER seem to skip these songs when they come on.  They tether me to a moment, a memory, a person,a place, a version of who I was, am, and want to be. Or just make me laugh!  Now this list in no way includes all the songs I wanted it to The minute I hit burn I had another list of songs I wished I had put on the mix... at some point I just had to stop!! But I know from converastions with beautiful creative people like Kamila that this is  my outlet into the world and it is always evolving and more will follow..  I just want to say thank you so very much  to all of you who read my rambles and listen to my cd's, gone to concerts with me and  shared music with me!

I would love to hear what you think?? what you like? what you don't? What you want to hear in 2015???
PS I messed up.. Knights in White Satin made it on the mix twice.. it's a good song.. just listen to it twice?
